Security First: SSL verification is enforced on all HTTP calls. No card data is handled by your server. All API credentials are masked in logs. Callback signatures are verified using timing-safe comparison to prevent forgery.

How It Works

  1. Customer selects ForteBank at checkout and places the order.
  2. Your store creates a signed payment session via ForteBank's API.
  3. Customer is redirected to ForteBank's secure payment page.
  4. Customer completes payment using their preferred method.
  5. ForteBank redirects the customer back to your store and sends a server callback.
  6. The addon verifies the signature, confirms payment status, and updates the order.

Installation

  1. Go to Add-ons > Manage add-ons, click Manual installation, and upload the addon zip
  2. Activate the addon and enter the license key
  3. Navigate to Administration > Payment methods and create a new payment method.
  4. Select ForteBank Payment Gateway as the processor.
  5. Enter your Merchant ID and Secret Key from the ForteBank portal.
  6. Configure the currency and order status mapping, then save.
