Requirements

• CS-Cart or Multi-Vendor 4.x
• PHP 7.1 or higher with OpenSSL extension
• PayPlug merchant account with API secret keys
• Store currency set to EUR (Euro)

Checkout Modes

• Redirect (Default) — Customer is redirected to PayPlug's secure hosted payment page
• Inline (Embedded) — PayPlug Integrated payment form is embedded directly on your checkout page. Customer pays without leaving your store.

How It Works

1. Customer selects PayPlug at checkout and clicks "Place Order"
2. The addon creates a payment via the PayPlug REST API (POST /v1/payments)
3. Customer is redirected to the PayPlug hosted payment page (or inline form appears on checkout page)
4. Customer enters their card details and completes the payment
5. Customer is redirected back to your store; the addon verifies the payment status
6. PayPlug sends an IPN notification for reliable server-side confirmation

Installation

1. Go to Add-ons > Manage add-ons, click Manual installation, and upload the addon zip
2. Activate the addon and enter the license key
3. Go to Administration > Payment methods and create a new payment method
4. Select "PayPlug Payment Gateway" as the processor
5. Enter your Secret Test Key and Secret Live Key from the PayPlug dashboard
6. Optionally paste the PayPlug public key for IPN signature verification
7. Configure order status mappings as desired
8. Save and test with sandbox mode before going live

Country & Currency

This addon is designed for merchants selling in Europe. PayPlug supports EUR (Euro) as the transaction currency. Ensure your store's primary currency is EUR.
